They are currently recruiting for the position of Installation Design Engineer, based in Rijswijk, the Netherlands.
Job Description
An experienced Installation Design Engineer is required to join our client in Rijswijk on a contract basis for approximately one year.
Overview of the work
Discuss work with parties involved
Making decisions which type of crane to use
Mooring forces
Structural reviews
Design & lift calculations
Offshore heavy lifting,
Dynamical tensions,
Skills & Experience
Candidate with experience in calculating for example steel structures as topsides/platforms, steel bridges, (no hull calculations) etc.
Extensive experience in transportation and installation,
BSc level in for example Civil Engineering.
Fluent in Dutch or English
Experience with heavy lifting calculations, checking such calculations
Experience with structural calculation software
Practical knowledge
Ability to make calculations by hand
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
