Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Junior QA/QC Engineer, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Job Description
As Junior QA/QC Engineer, you will assist the QA/QC Manager and QC Inspectors in quality related matters, especially product quality control. You will be trained/educated to become a competent QA/QC engineer.
Understand the basic concepts of quality control and assurance.
Understand manufacturing drawings and how to analyse production processes of welded constructions.
Understand the use of acceptance criteria in a manufacturing production operation.
Good knowledge of welding inspection and related non-destructive testing methods (MT, PT, UT and RT)
Use measurement skills in the application of quality/welding/coating techniques.
Review of inspection and test plans and manufacturing procedures, e.g. welding procedure specification
Skills & Experience
Rounded Intermediate Vocational Education and work and thinking level (mechanical engineering)
Good (verbal and written) communicative skills.
Good knowledge of computer systems, e.g. Microsoft Office
Good command of the English language (both written and spoken)
Flexible work attitude (no 9 till 5 mentality)
Affinity with construction and welding activities
Proactive attitude
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
