Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Engineer, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Job Description
Development, implementation and support of company Planned Maintenance System as per the company's maintenance philosophy/maintenance strategy and material management strategy.
This includes identification and structuring of tags, criticality assessments, maintenance instructions & spares/stores management.
Continuous improvement of maintenance strategy for CMMS in co-operation with Maintenance Manager & Operation Manager in order to achieve a safe & efficient operation.
Maintain the CMMS with proven best practices, improve the functionality of system based on input from users and own experience.
Ensure the sharing of best practice among the Units.
Carry out root cause analysis of shut down and break down reports specifically looking in to PM/CM requirements.
Follow up of Condition Based Maintenance programs
Apply techniques such as RCM and FMEA as and when required.
Monitor the compliance of maintenance activities against performance indicators.
Develop and perform CMMS training for selected personnel on the vessels.
Technical transfer of experience from new projects to Engineering from the facilities in operation.
Assist the Offshore Unit with systematic maintenance- and material planning.
Ensure sharing of best practice in the units.
End user support.
Interface and support in the development of new projects.
Skills & Experience
Degree Engineer (preferably Mechanic)
Working experience in FPSO
This is a permanent position.
