They are currently recruiting for the position of Civil/Structural Engineer, based in Assen, the Netherlands.
Job Descriptions
There were many earthquakes in N.E. Groningen region over last few years. Those earthquakes made it necessary to reinforce buildings, infrastructure and industrial installations against possible consequences. For many parts of the implementation of preventive measures a lot of engineering is taking place at this moment. Besides, design rules for earthquakes are being draught in the Netherlands by the NEN - NPR which are being handled by some engineering agencies to determine which reinforcement adjustments are needed.
For the engineering team of NAM Groningen project we are looking for a motivated and competent Engineer (M/F) to strengthen their team.
Giving Technical Support at a diversity of engineering activities realized by 3rd party consultants authorized by NAM
Giving technical engineering support
Technical review of engineering documents concerning reinforcement measurements before implementation
Technical support for implementation of reinforcement measurements
Independently coordinate and organize workshops and/or project meetings
Execute project management tasks related to engineering
Skills & Experience
MSc/BSc level of education in Civil or Structural engineering
Experience as Civil/Structural engineer with executing of structural analysis and preferably experience with dynamic analysis and the related software
Affinity with people, teamwork and good communication skills, both oral and written in the Dutch and English language,
Significant experience in a design environment preferably related to the project phase Conceptual Design till implementation
Experience with Eurocodes and other relevant codes
Preferably experience with executing civil/structural and/or infrastructure projects
Candidates should have local regional knowledge and have a network within the discipline and are mobile due to engineering work on different locations in the Netherlands.
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
