Our client is an expert in the execution of large and complex projects, providing worldwide support to clients from the conceptual design stage to engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning.
They are currently recruiting for the position of Heavy Lifting Engineer, based in Schiedam, the Netherlands.
Job Descriptions
Produce analysis and procedures and raise the related material take offs;
Perform discipline checks of the procedures and analysis;
Read project specifications and provide feedback from an engineering perspective;
Prepare the engineering planning for the project (procedures/analysis) together with the Lead Engineer and / or Unit Head for presentation to the project team;
Establish the necessary engineering manpower to perform the onshore/offshore scope of work together with the Lead Engineer and / or Unit Head;
Liaise with clients and subcontractors;
Provide input to improve and develop standard procedures and working guidelines.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent;
Previous experience with heavy lifting engineering;
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
Willingness to travel.
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
