They are currently recruiting for the position of Deck Project Engineer, based in Baku Azerbaijan

Responsibilities will include:
Ensure a commitment to best HSSE performance by management, contractor and contractor's workforce
Establish technical and fabrication engineering routine and integrity process with deck build contractor construction & engineering managers
Review of engineering deliverables & provide regular project status reports of engineering and Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSCM) deliverables in line with project schedule
Manage effective communications between engineering, technical, construction, project controls groups, PSCM and design engineering contractor
Provide assistance to the project construction manager
Lead company's expectations on quality and integrity of deck build
Agree the fabrication engineering schedule of deliverables and their target dates with contractor's engineering manager
Assist contractor's national recruitment strategy for mobilisation of fabrication engineers
Manage Company Construction group risk register & Lessons Learned activities
Manage technical interface between design engineering contractor and Construction Management Team
Work with Communication and External Affairs teams to ensure Azeri Authority approvals are achieved as required
Assist in developing the detail of the Mechanical Completion execution plan for contractor deck build, yard and offshore completion
Deliver constructability reports and ensuring the contracts' Scope of Work (SOW) account for constructability issues
Agree and monitor Required on Site (ROS) dates with Exploration and Production and ensuring the contracts SOW account for the dates
Manage the responses to Site Engineering Queries (SEQs) to resolution in change or modified implementation
Manage the resolution of contractor requests for change in scope, or for design engineering introduced change through a robust Management of Change (MOC) process

Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Experience
Essential
Significant experience in oil and gas / petrochemical or relevant international projects, in a similar role leading to development of the following skill sets:
Working with the engineering contractor and understanding engineering process
Ability to monitor engineering progress and understanding technical challenges
Site Integrity Management (IM) standards and the application of IM at fabrication sites in greenfield or brownfield projects
Experience in Commissioning and Completion processes
Proven ability to develop procedures, practices and strategies from first principles
