Our client is among the largest independent Oil & Gas exploration and production companies.
They are currently recruiting for the position of Facility Security Project Coordinator, based in The Woodlands, Houston, Texas.
Job Description
This position will provide security expertise and support to the LNG Project during the development of the Onshore Project Area, and will be tasked with conceptualizing and developing the security plans for the Onshore LNG Facilities and supporting infrastructure designated to the Project.
Provide security expertise throughout the planning and development of the LNG Facility.
Develop a security plan for the LNG Processing Facility and associated infrastructure that will include comprehensive technical, physical and procedural security solutions.
Research the available security solutions to understand the options best suited for this Project.
Document these solutions, and the policies and procedures for their implementation, in a detailed Facility Security Plan.
Establish the Security Response Concept for the Onshore Facilities and associated infrastructure.
Communicate the details of the Facility Security Plan and the Security Response Concept to the security team and appropriate Project personnel.
Coordinate with the Project teams including the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) teams; Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies; stakeholders; and other relevant Project personnel.
Review and respond to Technical Queries submitted by Project teams, concerning all aspects of the Facility Security Design.
Ensure that all security instructions provided to Project teams reflect the most up-to-date information.
Continuously update security instructions relevant to the Onshore Facilities that are included in the Basis of Design (BOD), Philosophy documents, Project Instructions and any other applicable Project documentation.
Reconcile FEED, EPC, EPCM and EPCI Plans to ensure all security instructions and specifications included in the Basis of Design (BOD), Philosophy documents and Project Instructions, are properly adhered to.
Engage with Stakeholders throughout the life of the Project.
Coordinate security design and implementation with the EPC Contractors.
Skills & Experience
Experience in developing and implementing security plans for large-scale sites. Experience with LNG sites would be preferable.
Knowledgeable in technical security components commonly used at large-scale sites, such as Access Control Systems (preferably Lenel), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and multiple camera surveillance systems.
Ability to coordinate, maintain and manage multiple Project activities while adhering to strict timelines. Provide ongoing updates and input of Project statuses to the security team and relevant stakeholders. Experience with Microsoft Office Project Management a benefit.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
High School diploma required.
College or Technical/Trade School training a plus.
Certified Alarm Technician, ASIS international PSP or CPP Certification, ISMI CSMP Certification.
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
