They are currently recruiting for the position of HSS Manager, based in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Job Description
Leadership
Provide the project leadership team with HSS advice, guidance and assistance;
Promote standardisation and simplification of project Programme HSS plans, processes and procedures.
Demonstrate strong HSS leadership through active and visible application of the GPO, project and SCPX HSS Rules, Policies, Practices, Standards and Procedures;
Adhere to the company Code of Conduct.
Organisation
Ensure that adequate HSS resources are in place to implement the HSS Management Plan;
Keep the PGM SCPX and project HSE Manager informed of all HSS related issues;
Attend SCPX Leadership Team meetings;
Interface with project HSE Manager and attend monthly HSE integration meetings;
Interface with AGT Region HSSE and S&OR functions; and
Interface with the AGT Region security manager on project security issues.
Working with Contractors
Develop and approve the HSS Clauses (Section IV) of the SCPX contracts;
Ensure contractor HSS submissions are evaluated during the tender process;
Attend monthly and quarterly contractor HSSE performance reviews;
Risk Management
Ensure that quality risk action plans are developed and implemented for project HSS risks;
Attend monthly project risk reviews;
Act as risk owner and risk approver in the projects risk management process for HSS risks; and
Ensure that procedures are in place to verify that the controls that are required to be in place to manage the project risks are being effectively applied.
Procedures and Plans
Develop a budget for the HSS team and ensure that HSS team activities are conducted within the constraints of the budget;
Ensure that an HSS Training Plan is in place that ensure that the project training requirements are met;
Draft and update, where necessary, the HSS section of the Project Execution Plan;
Develop Project HSS Management System to meet the requirements of GPO and S∨ and
Ensure that emergency response plans are in place and tested for effectiveness.
Privilege to Operate
Participate in the SCPX Readiness Review and Go No Go Process and endorse, from an HSS perspective, readiness to commence work;
Confirm that project activities are conducted in conformance with local laws and GPO, AGT and Project policies, standards and procedures; and
Ensure that the commitments register is maintained.
Results
Manage the reporting of project HSS incidents and statistics;
Ensure that the HSS data submitted to the Orange Book are accurate and delivered on time;
Monitor the contractor's compliance to the contract;
HSS budget forecasting and spend monitoring;
Develop and implement the project compliance and assurance plans; and
Act as focal point for all incident investigations.
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
