They are currently recruiting for the position of Instrumentation Manager, based in Baroda, India.

Job Description

The Manager - Instrumentation is expected to provide team leader to a team of electrical engineers, designers and draftsmen working on projects. The responsibilities includes managing the projects administratively and technically including resource planning, monitoring, scheduling, providing supervision, technical guidelines and directions to team members on multiple projects for successful completion of instrumentation engineering activities.

Provide support for various proposals, work hours estimation and provide support to department manager for various activities such as training and development of the resources, quality assurance etc.

Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Instrument and Control System Engineering
Vast work experience in Instrumentation Engineering and Design for Oil and Gas Industries, Petroleum and Refinery Units, Chemical/Petrochemical/Fertilizer plants etc.
Good Experience in handling projects like developing Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) Packages, executing Detailed Engineering services on EPCM basis and PMC services
Experience as Team Leader - At least 4 projects, team size of 10+
Work share project execution experience.
Knowledge of national/international electrical codes and standards
Rich knowledge and experience in specifications, selection, design and engineering of DCS/ESD/PLC/SCADA system including FF technology.
Fully conversant of InTools (SPI) various modules like index, specification, wiring and installation etc.
Good knowledge on application of computer aided design tools such as SPR/Naviswork or equivalent
Hands on experience on Preparation of specifications for all instrumentation items like DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA, Anti-Surge Control, Burner Management System, Gas Detection System, Gas Metering System, Tank Gauging system, Machine Monitoring System, Machine Protection System, Process Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, CEMS, Analyzer Shelters, Control Valves, ESD Valves with advance diagnostics, On Off valves, Safety Relief Valves, PRDS, Weighing System, Flowmeters and various types of field instruments etc.
Good Knowledge on HAZOP/SIL Study including SIL calculation
Hands on experience of FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) of various systems like DCS/ESD/SCADA/PLC etc.
Sizing of Various instrument items like flow element, control valve, safety relief valve, wake frequency of thermo-well etc.
FF Segment Calculation and design
Hands on experience in handling instrumentation of critical packages like compressors, blowers, fire heaters, turbines etc.
Detailed engineering to develop various instrumentation layouts and MT
Detailed engineering to develop various instrumentation documents like Logic Diagram, Control Narrative, Instrumented Protection Function Narratives, wiring connection details and loop diagrams
Man Power Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control skills
Ability to interact with other design groups in the office.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Compliance to budget, schedule and quality within allocated resources.
This is a permanent position.
