Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Inventory Controller, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
Releasing and processing Materials Requirements Planning.
Processing requisitions relating to stock
Extending Material Masters to our Plant
Overseeing QA/QC requirements
Liaising with Engineers on a structured basis to ensure optimum levels are set
Monitoring and reporting on trends
Responsible for stock check programme, reviewing reports and addressing outcome.
Min and Max stock reports to be run quarterly and reviewed accordingly. Retention of all associated documentation for audit purposes.
Review MRP settings report including running a critical spares report to ensure that critical spares are categorized as MRP type V1 and have max / min re-order levels applied.
Assist Materials controller / Buyer
To be familiar with and have an understanding of the Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures
Ability to deploy company and operational standards, policies and procedures to meet both regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications and Experience:
Excellent SAP skills
High level knowledge and experience of monitoring, managing and interrogating inventory.
Good supply market knowledge
Strong communication skills and proven ability to interface with both internal and external clients at all levels
High level knowledge of material control processes.
Ability to work within a team and to be flexible in support of material transactional activity
Ability to provide guidance and motivation to others
Competent in the use of SAP materials management and logistics modules.
Significent experience in related environment preferably with offshore experience
