Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Modularization Manager, based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Description
Accountable by Company for the successful incorporation of modular execution strategy by EPC Contractor and provide coaching and guidance for an optimal modular solution engineering specially the EPC team.
Ensure that modularization is developed and executed on the project as execution risk mitigation.
Responsible to provide expertise and review the modular solutions and give expert opinion and take the lead to ensure an optimal solution on selected projects.
Supervise EPC Contractor involved in design, planning, fabrication, construction and installation associated to EPC Contractor activities during all stages of the project construction activities on site and EPC activities on modularization yards outside Iraq.
Monitoring and Guidance of EPC Contractor during construction activities following drawing and specification approved for construction.
Ensure Contractor adheres to Company Engineering, HSE and QA/QC Standards & Specification with minimum deviation.
A Team Player with effective English communication skills, both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Report to Engineering Manager & Functional Management. Assist the Engineering and Construction Team and Managers during detail engineering and construction in the areas of constructability, engineering, logistic, planning, and so on.
Review requests for quotations and purchase specifications requisitions on assigned project
Special Knowledge:
Have in depth knowledge of Oil and Gas construction facilities with particular emphasis on Modular activities related to civil works, steel structure fabrication and installation as well as inter-disciplines activities during construction stage.
Coordination and evaluation of EPC contractor schedule for construction activities.
Stay abreast of new developments and trends in the field of modularization through Community of Practices in Modularization through the Construction Industry Institute.
Skills & Experience
BSc Degree or Higher in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Graduate Engineer with demonstrable knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas construction with emphasis on Modular Construction.
Vast experience in Construction of Oil & Gas Project as EPC/Consulting (Contractor) and/or PMT/PMC (Company) with emphasis on Modularization.
Desired Expertise as Design and Construction Engineering, Construction Manager and Construction Superintendent.
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
