Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Proposal Engineer - Offshore, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Job Description
As Proposal Engineer Offshore, you will be partly responsible for the offshore tenders for the oil and gas industry. Tenders for Offshore clients do vary from Integrated EPC solutions to trenching, backfilling and/or rock installation for protecting offshore pipelines and cables.
Pro-active coordinating, preparing and following-up pre-qualifications and tenders in close consultation with the Area and/or Regional managers and the Estimating & Engineering department.
Performing a key role in which you're contractual and technical knowledge will be vital in the commercial process.

At least a civil engineering degree from a technical college or a comparable degree.
Previous experience in budgeting and implementing projects in the dredging or offshore industry.
An enthusiastic and commercial person.
Good organisational skills.
A good command of the English language.
A good command of the Spanish and/or Portuguese language will be a great advantage.
Willingness to work and travel, for short or long periods, abroad.
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
