Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Cost Estimator Offshore, based in Rotterdam.
Job Description
As a Cost Estimator you will make cost calculations for international marine construction projects.
Analyzing and evaluating the requirements of the client.
Collecting relevant information.
Transforming these data into clear budgets and cost estimates including risk analysis, planning and work sequencing.
Skills & Experience
A higher professional or university degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Construction or Offshore Engineering.
Relevant experience with preparing dredging and backfill estimates.
Extensive relevant work experience in cost estimating and the execution of offshore projects.
A good communicator and systemic worker who operates with a high level of responsibility and independency.
Willingness to spend short periods of time abroad.
Strong analytical (mathematical) powers and commercial skills and able (after a certain period of time) to manage a team of estimators.
Good command of the English language.
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
