They are currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Advisor, based on 28/28 rotation in Basrah, Iraq.

Job Description
The purpose of the QA/ MA position is to develop organisational capability, and rigor in core Maintenance activities. A measure of success in the role is what the QA/MA has enabled others to do well, enabling strong, trusting relationships to be developed between the QA/MA and the national staff. Development of effective working relationships is a fundamental requirement of the QA/MA role.

Assist Maintenance Contractor to implement the Maintenance Strategy in QA.
Implement all record and reporting formats used by MN at other ROO/Sites
Identify the Key Performance Indicators and assist QA Maintenance Manager in Implementation and periodic review.
Advises National Maintenance team in all aspects of equipment installation, equipment repair, operation and maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, calibration and testing. Equipment includes: Pumps , electrical motors , valves , generators and controls s and controls
Assist in Root cause analysis to determine equipment defects/failures and ensure corrective actions are implemented as per target dates
Serves as a technical resource to provide the training and guidance to allow the local workforce to successfully troubleshoot and repair unusual or difficult problems.
Design a system for measuring the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions
Review standard for the Workshops and implement improvement actions
Assist QA Planning Team to Plan TARs and assist the Maintenance teams for safe execution of TARs
Attend and contribute to daily management and safety meetings, ensure expats and local teams, understand the necessary details

Skills & Experience
Interpersonal communication skills are critically important to the QA/MA position, and should be demonstrably excellent.
Wide range of hydrocarbons Maintenance experience including different equipment in a water injection field.
Experience of supervisory roles in culturally and linguistically diverse working environments.
Capable of working autonomously, and organising time and resource to achieve work deliverables to defined standards.
Personal behaviours and work ethic that leads by example.
Excellent broad range of relevant HSE knowledge.
In depth knowledge of control of work systems.
Significant hydrocarbon operations in a culturally diverse working environment, preferably in a supervisory capacity with national staff reports.
Middle Eastern cultural awareness.
Arabic language
This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
