Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Post Tensioning (PT) Specialist, based in Bull Arm, Newfoundland.
Job Description
The Post Tensioning Specialist will ensure quality of work meets specifications and standards set for GBS construction.
Promote and follow up Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE).
Focus on and contribute to an SSHE mind-set within the KKC construction organization.
Follow up execution of PT installation scope performed by subcontractors.
Follow up execution of PT installation scope during slip forming operations.
Review and comment on subcontractor work preparation and planning.
Maintain a detailed knowledge of the scope of work.
Ensure compliance with the established installation plan and project schedule.
Ensure that drawings, specifications and procedures are followed.
Provide technical support for the post tensioning team.
Implement corrective actions when necessary.
Skills & Experience
Considerable experience from post tensioning work on GBS construction.
Extended experience in work planning and execution of post tensioning work on slip forms.
Innovative and results orientated.
Good knowledge of the methods, tools and equipment used for elevated post tensioning work.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability work well within teams.
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
