They are currently recruiting for the position of Reliability & Maintenance Engineer, based in the London area.
Job Description
This post is one of the key posts in the Developments Operations Readiness team. It is accountable to deliver a complete maintenance program (maintenance build) for the Developments suite of projects. Specific activities and deliverables include:
Tender and manage the Maintenance Build Contract, and assure the delivery of a complete maintenance program (maintenance build) for new facilities and equipment
Manage the technical aspects of maintenance build activities, including strategy development, RCM/FMECA application, and optimisation of maintenance activity
Incorporate Contractor-provided RAM models into the maintenance analysis, or create additional models as needed
Manage the maintenance build activities from the standpoint of cost, schedule, budget, and quality
Interface with Project Information Managers and EPC Contractors to ensure that required information is defined and delivered on schedule to support maintenance build activity
Interface with Maximo and Maintenance Planning teams in order to facilitate integration of new programs with those for existing equipment
Ensure conformance of new maintenance programs with applicable technical standards
Coordinate reviews and approvals of maintenance strategies and procedures with the Ops Readiness team, and with R+M personnel as required
Interface with Inspection and Materials Catalogue build activities as needed to integrate these elements into the overall program
Coordinate handover, loading, and testing of completed maintenance build load files with Maximo technical staff
Providing input to Ops Readiness and OPEX budgets
The successful candidate must be able to approach this work from both the standpoints of maintenance and reliability engineering, and from the practical aspects of the maintenance discipline. This position will initially be posted in the UK, but will potentially migrate to the UAE as project engineering locations are finalised.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in developing reliability-based maintenance programs for major oil and gas facilities
Previous experience in maintenance planning in a primary maintenance discipline (M/E/I)
Formal training in reliability concepts and their application, including RAM and RCM/FMECA analysis techniques, and associated software
Thorough knowledge of the maintenance management and preventive maintenance modules of Maximo
Proven experience in managing contractors
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
Previous experience of working within a multi-cultural and multi-discipline environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deliver exceptional results in difficult project environments
Ability to relocate as required in accordance with Project requirements
Frequent business travel may be required as necessitated by EPC contractor work locations
Occasional business travel may also be required to site in Iraq (for a which a medical must be completed and passed)
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
