They are currently recruiting for the position of Senior Project Engineer, based on 6/2 rotation in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Job Description
Baku based project integration role to coordinate activities across the respective delivery lines for the F&G Project to assure these are effectively coordinated and all interfaces identified between the delivery lines are dealt with appropriately in order to safeguard traditional project objectives of safety, quality cost and schedule.
Promote at all times a strong HSSE performance within the company team and contracting organisations to achieve safe, reliable and effective onshore fabrication, and offshore construction and commissioning activities, for the F&G Project
Participate in risk and opportunity meetings convened by the respective delivery lines throughout construction, commissioning and project handover to AGT Operations.
Maintain awareness and promote conformance to GPO expectations and requirements of Safe Design and Quality Build within the construction team and its contractors.
Perform planning and integration role across respective project delivery lines for construction and commissioning to ensure that interfaces are identified and dealt with timeously, and that there is adequate coordination across the individual lines.
Support the Baku based contract accountable managers and project operations manager to deliver their respective scopes of work, as follows: (i) fabrication, (ii) marine transport and installation, (iii) subsea commissioning and (iv) operations readiness.
Perform role of constructability coordinator; implement requirements of the Constructability Plan Summary for Execute, including attendance at regular project progress meetings and maintenance of a consolidated action tracking register to track progress of issue resolution and action closure.
During fabrication and marine installation phases, help assure all inputs are available when required for construction and assist where and when necessary to clear any bottlenecks, or other impediment to progress.
Coordinate vendor input at the fabrication site for post-assembly site acceptance testing and arrange attendance of the interface parties, including GWO, offshore construction, and commissioning representatives, during the site acceptance testing.
As project construction progresses towards mechanical completion and commissioning activities, perform integration role to ensure that the construction and commissioning functions are well connected and fully focused on project completion and handover of the subsea well tie-ins to AGT Region Operations.
Support the Project Operations Manager in activities associated with implementation of the Operations Readiness and Start-up plan, including all associated interfaces on project completion and handover of the subsea facilities to AGT Operations ahead of start-up of the wells.
Support the Project Manager during project completion and handover stage with matters pertaining to project handover readiness and well start-up assurance reviews, including attendance at meetings with Regional representatives such as Base Management, project and Subsea Operations personnel in readiness for project completion, handover and start-up of the new wells.
Skills & Experience
Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering with post-graduation diploma in Management.
Vast experience in project management of subsea engineering, offshore installation and general subsea construction activities.
Proven capability of project networking and team working in successful teams across the full range of project activities, including design engineering, site construction, commissioning, and project completion and handover to Operations
Experience with onshore fabrication and offshore marine construction activities related to health, safety, and environmental issues.
Exhibit understanding of company technical practices and latest international standards that assure integrity of build and construction quality.
Proactively demonstrate decision-making and leadership skills needed to address the full range of stakeholder groups and complex issues associated with Well Tie-ins to operating subsea facilities.
Ability to intervene in critical situations in order to redirect focus and achieve required results.
High level of proven communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
Financial and commercial awareness.
Self-motivated and range of skills in computer literacy.
This is a permanent position.
