Senior Procurement Specialist
Do you have 5 years experience as a Senior Procurement Specialist with for an Exploration and Production company in the Oil and Gas industry?
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will develop sources, request pricing and delivery, place orders, and follow up until products are received. You will prepare bid documents, and offer recommendations to management of market conditions and supplier based activity, which could affect pricing and/or delivery. You will review contracts for terms and conditions. You will expedite deliveries to meet Customer schedules in the field. You will monitor Purchase Order activity to ensure completed orders are closed in system. You will assist in the collection, analysis and reporting of key metrics. You will improve lead time performance within the Procurement process ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to meet business requirements. You will participate on strategic development and implementation of special projects. You will work with freight forwarders and logistics on a daily basis.
Requirements:
· Must have a minimum of Bachelor Science in Supply Chain or Engineering.
· Must have 5 years of Procurement/Supply Chain experience with Upstream Oil and Gas Operator.
· Previous experience with ERP system preferred.
· Must be proficient with Word and Excel.
· Must be certified in Supply Management. APICS in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or APISC Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
