Trainee Offshore Supervisior


To complete the approved FRE FASTRACK Training (workshop and offshore) gain supervisory experience in the planning, co-ordination, control and execution of Fishing & Re-entry systems at the well site in-line with Company and Client Company policies, procedures and systems, Statutory Regulations and ensuring that Weatherford procedures and best practices are adhered too.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Complete the Competency Training Plans in a timely manner. Undertake any training deemed necessary to fulfil Company/Customer requirements. Undertake any required training to a satisfactory level of achievement, and complete a periodic examination to assess the knowledge gained from the completion of the training plans.
Demonstrate, through assessment and internal interactions, full understanding of equipment, systems and functionality, and make themselves fully aware of the job reporting process through the training plans and, if necessary, further interaction with Workshop / Operations /Well site Supervision.
Demonstrate, through assessment and internal interactions, full understanding of equipment, systems and functionality, hydraulics and down-hole calculations and make themselves aware of the job reporting process through the Training Plans.
Highlight any perceived personal training needs with respect to Company FRE or associated equipment.
Utilize FRE equipment using proven and established working practises within the remit of Quality and Safety Management Systems.
Attend any job briefs/debriefs required and demonstrate an understanding on topics such as hydraulics, down-hole calculations, functionality.
Ensure that all possible preparations have taken place, equipment is fit for use and all pre-installation checks/testing have been carried out. Also to ensure that all documentation and/or certification is relative to equipment.
Attend Field Supervisors’ and/or Operations meetings to share and update on recent well-site activities and new equipment/processes/technical information. Also to be briefed on Company business pertaining to operational activities.
Attend pre-job briefing and debriefing meetings to update on customer requirements and/or parameters and communicate prepared reports to the relevant Operations Co-ordinators and assist in follow-up reporting/processing as required.
De-briefs to be completed as soon as is practicable on return to base to minimise effect on ongoing operations.
Promote the Company's good name through customer interaction and a professional approach to the job in hand - fostering good relations for continued business.
Maintain a level of cleanliness and tidiness in the office, shop and yard to promote a positive corporate image and to provide an acceptable workplace for employees
Manage the provision of accurate and timely information in accordance with established  region processes.
Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and implement and apply effective
Controls to ensure the custody and efficient use of company assets.
Assist the FTS to generate his monthly FRE management report.
Other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
High shool diploma
Experience in the Drilling Operations and work-over operations.
Experience in performing well site calculations
Essential QHSE procedural knowledge.
Must have significant Offshore Experience (minimum 7 years, must have reached the position of Assistant Driller) or similar service company role with experience of operating or supervising hydraulic or mechanical downhole tools. Must have reasonable working knowledge of rig instrumentation (Martin Decker etc.) and equipment (Compensator, Mud Pumps etc.)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft Excel & Word programmes
Knowledge of downhole hydraulics and fluid systems
Must be able to undertake a continuous 6 month training program outside of their home country.
Essential QHSE procedural knowledge.
Must have reasonable working knowledge of rig instrumentation (Martin Decker etc.) and equipment (Compensator, Mud Pumps etc.)
