Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Works Manager, based in Papendrecht, the Netherlands.
Job Description
The technical execution of the project and the efficient planning of employees and equipment available for the project
Operational functioning of the project and managing the site managers on project location
Supporting and managing the employees, subcontractors and the divers interfaces within the project
The construction plans, planning of work, observing additional and reduced work in consultation with the project manager and also monitoring the costs and revenues of the project.
Striving for, within the safety-regulations and quality-requirements, a maximum project result.
Maintain contacts/relationship with the employees the client and others relevant to the project
To show leadership and commitment to ensure a healthy and safe place to work and to prevent a negative impact on the environment by adhering to the relevant QHSE procedures as described.
Skills & Experience
You work at a HBO level and have considerable relevant working experience in a complex technical (offshore) environment for large cost intensive construction projects;
Knowledge of valid RQHSE requirements of the offshore-industry;
You have a very good command of the English, Dutch and preferably German language, both written as well as spoken;
Willing to travel, but also willing to stay abroad during the execution phase of the project (currently in the European region but expected to expand worldwide);
You are motivated and eager to use your skills in this role;-
You have the personality to if needed replace the project manager in its absence;
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
