Our client is currently recruiting for the position of QC Coordinator Offshore, based in Rotterdam.
Job Description
Ensure all shallow water/pipeline related activities are properly planned in accordance with relevant client/contractual requirements.
Ensure that all shallow water/pipeline QC procedures are prepared and issued in a timely manner in accordance with relevant client/contractual requirements (e.g. Inspection Test Plans, Project Quality Control Plans).
Ensure that QC standards are developed and maintained to cover all shallow water/pipeline activities.
Ensure that onshore and offshore operations are carried out in accordance with client/contractual requirements.
Act as the focal point for all QC matters relating to the project.
Organize and coordinate resources to ensure adequate QC coverage for projects.
Coordinate required inspection at vendors/subcontractors premises.
Skills & Experience
A secondary vocational qualification or equivalent (technical).
Considerable offshore working experience (pipeline related) or previous onshore experience (pipeline related).
Valid Welding inspection certificate CSWIP 3.1, 3.2, AWS CWI, CAWI or equivalent.
NDE level 2 in MT, UT, RT and AUT. and/or valid coating certificate BGAS-CSWIP or equivalent
Your skills will be needed worldwide, and you must be prepared to spend periods of time abroad.
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
